We would also like to let you know, that your support and patronage of Bali Sunrise Trekking and Tours has also helped Gede pursue his labor of love, the Cempaka Putih Foundation. Starting with only a car and willingness to be of service, Gede started CPF in 2007.
With organized volunteer efforts and donations, CPF has been able to make a difference to many impoverished families in the Kintamani region of Bali. Thanks to the encouragement and support of so many people from around the world, we are hopeful for a bright future for CPF, and for all the people of Bali's central mountains!
English on Sundays!
A favorite with our guests and the village children alike is our weekly English classes. Every Sunday, Gede, his daughter Cempaka, and volunteers teach English to the children of Songan village. Past volunteers have even made this a festive occasion, with magic shows, face painting, and balloon animals!
